The Lazy Heron is a family owned coffee house pleased to deliver high quality hand-crafted beverages in the relaxed lakeside town of Kingsland.
Our family left the hustle and bustle of Austin to enjoy the slower paced life of lake-living. We made that choice back in 2012 and our only regret is that we hadn’t come sooner! With the Lazy Heron, we strive to serve up great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our chosen home. You can often find me (Aaron) or my charming wife (Jennifer) working alongside our wonderful staff.
The Lazy Heron Name
People often ask us where our name came from. We wanted a playful and unique name incorporating our view of the lake life.
